Ep. #12. From Georgia to Canada & Project Manager to a Tech Startup Founder, VisaWire – Nino Melikidze

April 24, 2024

In this episode, I spoke with Nino Melikidze, the founder of VisaWire in Canada. Nino moved to the US from Georgia when she was 17, and after studying and working in the US, she moved to Bogota in Colombia, Vancouver, and Toronto. She founded her company, VisaWire, with her passion and mission to help immigrants in Canada and other western countries immigrate and settle in new countries successfully. I really enjoyed speaking with her because we share a similar background – immigrating to Canada, working in tech, and being a solo founder – If you’re thinking of studying abroad or working abroad, you’ll enjoy this episode!

After listening to this episode, you will be able to learn:

  • How Nino moved to the US from Georgia and her journey in the US, Colombia, and Canada
  • How Nino started her entrepreneurship journey
  • How VisaWire helps immigrants settle in new countries
